Blog Post #10- The lookalikes

During my film, I plan to include flashbacks from when my two protagonist originally met. To do this I needed to find two younger kids. One had to be older and the other one younger as a way to represent the age gap from a younger age. While I did not have much to work with and it was difficult to find similar kids, I think I did a pretty decent job.

The older:

To represent the oldest protagonist as a child I choose Sophia. Sophia is a twelve year old girl who has similar features and interest as Chelsey. Making the decision for this was pretty clear for me. Sophia and Chelsey both have freckles, brunette, similar noses, both love the beach and taking pictures. Putting them side by side made me realize this would be the closest match.

The younger:

When it came to finding someone to represent the younger protagonist I chose Amelia. Amelia is five years old. This was a hard match to make because Mia and Amelia have similar features, however, Amelia is much younger than Sophia and it is noticeable. Both my younger actors have similar features (since they are sisters) and have a lot of the same interests.
