Blog Post #20- My Social Media Plan

After looking at social media accounts, I wanted to get a general idea on what I am doing for mine.
When first creating an account, this is what it looks like:
I have not officially created my account yet which explains the no username. However, when I create my social media account, my username will be the name of my film.

Profile picture:
For the profile picture, I will use a picture with no characters and just the name of my film. When it came to the similarities for the three accounts it was the profile picture. All three accounts contained the name of their film. The last two also included symbols from the show. For example, "The Summer I Turned Pretty" takes place at a family owned beach house. From the "Outer Banks" account they include the quote "Bring it on home" which is a famous line from past seasons that is only understood with viewers.  When it comes to my short film, I will keep it simple like "This Is Us".

Another similar factor was the highlights. The highlights shown on the profiles all consisted of behind the scene shoots, premieres and different ways to meet the actors. On my social media account I will have highlights. I will have two separate highlights for each of my protagonists; Mia and Abby. There will also be pictures of different locations and behind the scene shots where each highlight will also be given a name.

Each of my posts will consist of something related to my film. A disadvantage with a short film is that you can only publish so many clips without giving away the whole short film. For pinned post, there will be a teaser and release date about my film. But for the other posts there will be things like pictures of our actors, bloopers and interviews.
