Blog Post #23- Practicing Speed Check
Planning a speed check:
For the beginning of my film, I show viewers that my two characters were driving too fast. I plan to have a clip showing the speed limit than cutting to the speed. This will lead to foreshadowing with the audience that an accident is about to happen. To film this, I was driving and had the person in my passenger seat film.
I was not a fan of how shaky the camera was and how the camera came off blurred. So I will be redoing it with more filming. My characters get into an accident in the rain where it is gloomy outside. I will re film the shot where it is still light outside but it is gloomy. This should also help with eliminating the glare from the car screen to the phone. Another thing that will be done differently is that the camera will be farther back. It was harder to get rid of the glare when it was so up close. I know the things that needs to be done to better improve my films.
