Blog Post #28- Final Speed Check

The speed check was successfully filmed! In this speed check the main thing to focus on was how fast the person in the car was going. The lighting is still bright however, it is dim enough to understand that it is not a sunny day. 

                                                                    

The intentions of this shot was to show the speed limit but also set the mood. The gloomy and rainy mood signifies that this is not necessarily going to be a happy short film. People tend to associate sunny with happy and rainy with sad. Waiting to film was tricky because you are unaware when it will rain and if the weather would stay that consistent throughout the day. Another reason filming the speed check is important is because shortly after it cuts to this. 

There are still many edits to be made to just these three clips alone. However, it is slowly coming together. By showing both speed limits its adds to the buildup of the plot.
