Blog Post #29- Fake blood!

To make the car accident more realistic, we bought red washable paint attempting to create fake blood all over the body. Both actors were affected in the accident so we had to make the effect on both. Mia suffered the more severe part of the accident so she had more "blood" on her body. During the film clip, Abby is shown as if she flew forward. One side of her face is pushed against the dashboard so we did not bother putting any blood on that side. 

The paint easily came off with little staining and did the job. Past experiences we have used fake blood on skin and it ended up staining. While the paint was not as gooey as we planned it still gives off the same meaning. This was apart of the actors costuming since it needed to be included.
