Blog Post #36- Creating the profile picture

When I was doing research on other instagram accounts I realized that majority of their profile pictures were not pictures from the film itself rather a plain picture. To make my account more realistic, I wanted to have my profile picture be something that was designed. To create this profile picture, I used the website Canva. 

When adding it to my instagram account I had to perfectly move it to be in the middle. In blog post 19, I did the different research on different accounts. The Summer I Turned Pretty, Outer Banks and This Is Us all include words rather than original pictures. 

 

For example this short film Love to kill. 

It is a smaller short film account where they make the instagram profile picture the title of the film. I tried to make a similar vibe. The short film "Love to kill" is a horror short film and there is signals with the red blood meant to symbolize blood and the knife in the L. My film is a modern drama and to create this I used basis colors and did not include too much. Keeping the profile picture basic.
