Blog Post #41- Promoting my social media account

To gain a following on my instagram account, I sent out the link and shared my posts to my friends. I texted the link to my family because that would be the easiest way to promote it to my friends. This is a screenshot image of me sending a description and link to my mom and aunt. 

When it came to my friends, I sent the post on Instagram because that would be the way to spread the information to them. 

After one day of advertising this is my following amount: 

 

When it comes to promoting my film, you have to adjust to your audience members. For example, realistically speaking my film will not reach an older audience member range. I will be sticking to focusing on working around the younger generations. For my posts I will have more hashtags and word the captions to grab the attention of teenagers.
