Blog Post #48- Fifth Instagram Post

For my fifth instagram post, I took some behind the scene shots of some of my characters and also a failed take and put them into one post.

Here is screenshots of what I posted:

Slide one:

The purpose of this post was:
  • show there is progress being made with my film
  • keep my instagram active/consistent
For the first slide, I was standing on a chair and I took an overhead shot of all my actors for that scene. Three of the people in this picture were included in my application process for hiring background characters so I took this as an opportunity to introduce them. The second slide is a small clip from filming. The intentions were to make the scene look like a realistic classroom where my protagonist was happy and having a good time with her friends. Especially since the whole plot of my film is showing her happy with the flashbacks. The third slide is similar to the first it is just a different picture.

For the caption of my post, I wanted to make it more personalized. I did this by saying "One of my favorite scenes to film.", because it truly was. I then went in depth just a little more on advertising my film and getting my followers excited. I included the countdown until when my film is released and used the same hashtags I have used every post. This is what makes my account familiar and posts following the same themes and characteristics.
