Blog Post #53- Update

                                                     

There has been many different changes to my film. Originally my plot was focusing on two characters and the flashbacks of them together. But the more I thought about it, it begun to not make sense. It would require me to do the final five minutes of both of my actors last moments and it would have been dragged out. So I decided to cut that part out of my film and focus on my protagonist; Mia. There has been more focus on her with other characters and things going on in her life. 

Another change was the age gap. I decided to go back to the original plan where the flashback of them when they were younger consists of actors Mia and Chelsey. They shared the most resemblance with the two younger girls I was working with. 

When editing my film, the original plan was the final scene would be Mia flatlining. However, the more I filmed I changed the ending. For the final couple scenes they will show current times with everyone adjusting to Mia. The difference will be shown because the flashback filter will be taken off of those final clips. 

When planning my film, I was going to use soundtracks to fill up majority of my film. But instead of doing that I am going to attempt and do diegetic sound. There will still be background music and soundtracks. 

Overall, there are many changes being done to my project. All these changes are being put into place to create a better well produced film.
