Blog Post #55- Pre-postcard researching

For one of the minor tasks, we have to create a postcard to send into a film festival. To gain inspiration I decided to take a deeper look into different postcards and see what I liked and what I could use in mine. 

Postcard number one: 

Liked: 

• The contact information
• Bland background
• Short summary/synopsis

Disliked: 

• Limited information

Postcard number two:

Liked:  

• Awards
• The film quotes
• Starring/director
• Bold title

Dislike: 

• Blurry picture

Both postcards consists of different traits that I enjoy. For example, for the first picture I like the contact information. That is something I will carry over into my postcard. For the second picture, I enjoyed a lot more. The awards on the postcard makes the the film seem more credible. The title is bold and it includes the production company along with the actors in the film. By looking at different postcards, it gives me an idea on what to put on mine to make it more realistic.
